Cooperative Ulysses Rodriguez was where I lived for a time when I was in Nicaragua in the 1980s. It was here that I learnt so much about Nica life and the importance of the revolution to the peasant class who had become landowners in the agricultural revolution that saw large farms and ranches owned by the wealthiest confiscated and their workers take over the operations.
